Before you begin

  • Completed contract documents
  • Created scope checklists
  • All checklists current

Step-by-step

Follow these steps

  1. Prepare the project

Confirm that contract documents are complete and each package has a created scope checklist.

If ScrubPlan reports that the latest checklists are out of date, run Refresh All Checklists first.

  2. Create the analysis

Open Scope Gap Analysis and select Create for the latest document version.

ScrubPlan analyzes new packages that do not already have results. Prior document versions remain available as read-only records.

  3. Track package progress

Use the package navigation to watch each analysis complete and find packages marked for attention.

Select a package when its results are ready.

  4. Resolve Scope Gap findings

Open the Scope Gap tab. Edit unclear descriptions and reorder the rows when needed.

Select the checkmark to accept a finding into the scope checklist and Contract Inclusions workflow, or select the trash icon to dismiss it.

  5. Resolve Conflict Analysis findings

Open Conflict Analysis and review requirements that may contradict or duplicate one another.

Edit or reorder a row, select the checkmark to keep it marked as a conflict for follow-up, or use the trash icon to dismiss it.

  6. Finish and revisit after changes

Review every attention marker and confirm accepted findings appear in the current package checklist.

Completed prior versions stay read-only. Create becomes available again when a new package or document version needs analysis.
