Creating New Projects
1. Select “Add Project” from the Projects page.

2. Populate the project information. When selecting the Structure Type, please select the main structure type for the building. For example, if the building has a concrete structure with steel elements, select ‘Concrete’ as your structure type or if the building has a wood framed structure on a concrete podium, select ‘Woodframe’ as your structure type.

3. Click ‘+Documents’ from the ‘Contract Documents’ tab from the Project page.

4. Upload the project drawings (plans only, no specifications). Please note many browsers will not support uploading project documents larger than 150MB. If your drawing file is larger than 150MB, use a PDF editor to split your plans into smaller files.

5. Populate the ‘Document Version’ and ‘Drawing Date’

6. After the drawings have uploaded, select the drawing type for each sheet. The sheet number should be populated by ScrubPlan, if we are unable to read the drawings, a prompt will ask you to confirm the sheet number. Then click "Submit" to complete the upload process. Make sure to double check that you have uploaded the complete set of construction documents prior to moving on to section 2. Not doing so may cause errors when editing trades. ScrubPlan will function properly for projects up to 1300 sheets.

7. To upload the specifications, click the ‘+Specifications’

8. Drag and drop your specifications. Specifications must be in PDF format. Then, populate the ‘Document Version’ and ‘Drawing Date’.

9. After ScrubPlan has extracted the specification number and title, select 'Confirm' to add the specifications to your project.

10. Due to the large page counts of some specification documents, the ingestion into ScrubPlan can take a few minutes. On the project screen, ScrubPlan displays the ingestion status. If the status is 'in_progress' you can run the trade analysis. But the specification analysis cannot be performed until the status is 'completed'
